Job Description
As an ARMHS Practitioner with Central Minnesota Solutions Inc., you will directly assist clients in overcoming barriers posed by their mental health symptoms. This role primarily involves one-on-one sessions conducted in clients’ homes or communities, requiring practitioners to have reliable transportation.
Providing ARMHS blends mental health and social work. During sessions lasting 1-3 hours, practitioners will:
- Educate clients on mental health symptoms, their identification, and associated impairments.
- Teach and practice skills to mitigate clients’ mental health-related impairments.
- Coach clients to apply these skills in real-life scenarios to achieve personal goals.
- Collaborate with clients to evaluate effectiveness and strategize for improvement.
Building strong client relationships is pivotal in this role, ensuring clients feel supported as they tackle challenges hindering their progress.
